Is this you?
I specialize in helping women and their partners who recognize themselves in one or more of these situations:
You recently separated from a partner, and you’re not sure how it all fell apart despite your best efforts. When you look back on your past, you see a junkyard of broken relationships, even though you truly loved your partners.
You’re in a relationship now with someone you love deeply, but there’s a pattern between you two that keeps playing out and you want to get to the bottom of it.
You grew up with a parent (or two) who was rageful or neglectful. As an adult you tend to have relationships with partners who are angry or upset at you, who are not available, or whom you have to take care of.
You had a mentor, a therapist or spiritual leader that you loved but who turned out to not be who you thought they were. You are struggling to make sense of what happened and to figure out how to move forward without this person in your life.
You were involved in a group or community in which you felt pressured to do things you would have never done otherwise. For example: a community centered on a specific belief system or set of teachings, a religious or spiritual community, a wellness or personal development program, an MLM, or another cult-like group. There are a lot of feelings to process, including shame, anger, grief. You want to understand what happened so that you never lose yourself in something like that again.
I have a special place in my heart for clients who:
are in their 30s and feeling the urgency of making changes in their lives
live in a country that is different than the one their parents are from
continue to be COVID-cautious and feel left behind by a society that has moved on
are distressed by systemic injustice and ecological collapse
have no idea who to vote for anymore
are late bloomers who go at their own (often slow) pace
are at ease in small groups and one-on-one interactions, and tend to get quiet and nervous in large groups
are rebels at heart and question everything.
